it happens to the worst of us. This is what happens when you over play your pipes, and then go from inside to outside. At first I thought I had misstruck my pipes because the bass drone was all wonky, but not honking, very confusing, then I remembered (cane drone reed), so I restarted my pipes, killed the middle tenor and retuned the bass. By this time I had lost my concentration and my internal metronome was off kilter. Actually I should have played a settling tune before starting. for new pipers like me. It happens, the judge by the way offered to let me play just for feed back after I stopped playing but the bass drone just wasn t into the game and started stopping, so I bowed out.
