Booka Shade Vertigo

10 years ago, in July 2004, Vertigo was released the first single taken off our first album Memento. it was also the concert opener of the 20042005 tour. check out this original tour video. its based on the film Here After by Patrick Jolley, a film maker who sadly passed away in 2012, and was recut by the visual director for the show at that time, Fubbi Karlsson. the visual aspect of our music was very important to us from day one (the whole Memento album was based around the idea the we produced music late night in the studio while we had movies running on the TV screen with the sound off), and we were lucky that long time companion Eike Koenig (eikes grafischer hort) created the artworks for the first albums. when we decided to create a live show to promote the album, it was clear it would feature visuals, video all the way through.
