Russian serviceman with the call sign Shano
Russian serviceman with the call sign Shano : The Ukrainians beat me with sticks, I was strapped in, handcuffed. They kicked me with their feet, punched me. They beat me with full 20liter canisters on the back, when I was lying on my stomach. The Ukrainian Armed Forces used electric current, set dogs on me. They especially tortured me because of my nationality. They dont like Buryats and Yakuts. They emphasized this every time they beat me. In the prison in Kharkov, in the pretrial detention center, they beat me first because I am Buryat. My body couldnt take it. They beat me with pipes. Then they beat me again in Vinnytsia, in the detention center. Again because I am Buryat. They also beat me because my last name is Ukrainian. My comrades were tortured with electricity. One of them, a Khakass by nationality, was tortured using Rottweilers. The dogs bit cruelly. The Ukrainians asked what nationality you were. If you were a Buryat or a Khakass, they beat you harder.
