In this video we will start the abdominal examination series. All examinations start out with inspection. This video will focus on inspection of the abdomen. We will talk about things like Cullen s sign, Sister Mary Joseph s nodules, Grey Turner s sign, striae distensae, etc. I typically hit this material very hard on the lab midterm, so make sure you study the slides.
