Gannicus Freedom ( The Rudis )

This is a character video for Gannicus but looking at his choices before and after he was a slave. The video was done for a competition were I had to concentrate on an object with meaning to the character. The rudis is a symbol of freedom but it also meant uncertainty as the gladiator freed had no home, food or money. For doctore it symbolises victory while for Gannicus a life time of blood. As a slave Gannicus made some bad choices but as a free man under the Romans he was not much better. It s only wh
