Cambridge: Out and About
Take a walk through the historic city centre of Cambridge, visiting several of the colleges of Cambridge University, including the famous chapel at King s College, Great Gate at Trinity College, and the redbrick St. John s College. Also we stop off at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of only 4 surviving medieval round churches in England. Originally built in the year 1130, it s probably one of the oldest buildings in Cambridge. The historic city centre covers quite a small area, but it is packed with all manner of historic buildings and other interesting features. In fact, to see everything I ve shown you in this video requires a walk of only about 2km, or about a mile and a quarter. There is plenty more available than I could cover during a limited amount of filming time. At some times of year, tourists can enter some of the college grounds, although not in early June during university exams. Social Media: Facebook: Twitter: Instagram: Google Plus:
