Alice Blue Gown Sharkeys Dixieland band featuring Harry Shields clarinet 1951

Great clarinet solo by Harry Shields, brother of Larry Shields of the ODJB. I met Harry Shields at a Dixieland at Disneyland event in the 1960 s when Joe Mares brought some New Orleans musicians there to play at the event. When I visited New Orleans the same year on a vacation I got to know Harry Shields and heard him with Sharkey Bonano s band. I also heard Harry Shields when he was at Preservation Hall. I have included in the video portion a picture of Harry Shields on the bandstand at Preservation Hall.
