Two Chicago police officers responding to an alert from ShotSpotter, the citys gunshot detection system, were shot and wounded early Sunday on the West Side, authorities confirmed. One officer had been in critical but stable condition and the other had been in good condition, officials said. Both officers were released from Mount Sinai Hospital around 10:45 a. m., police said.
