Meet a Poet: Mary Hickman

Mary Hickman is the author of two poetry collections, This Is the Homeland and Rayfish, which won the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets. She is an assistant professor of English at Nebraska Wesleyan University, teaches for the University of Iowas International Writing Program in summer, and is a member of the The Mighty Vitamins big band.
