Aussie: High pressure moves in, but windy wet around it

Windy weather remains around Tassie and surrounding regions of Bass Strait but high pressure is rolling through bringing a period of settled weather, followed by windier north to northwesterlies in the south. Showers continue on the coastal side of QLD and the lower southwest corner of WA. VIC, SA, NSW, TAS all get a chance of rain but totals vary, TAS is most exposed to rain, especially the west coast. Elsewhere not much is going on so if were not talking about you it means the weather isnt likely changing much.
