What are Those Bulging Eyes

Blunthead Tree Snake (Imantodes cenchoa) from the Rainforest of Yasuni National Park, Ecuador. This bluntheaded tree snake looks like a cartoon thanks to their huge, bulging eyes which take up to a 1, 4 of the length of its head. Imantodes are long and slim (up to 1. 5m), delicate and live in trees. They sling their head and upper body effortlessly from branch to branch using the weight of their lower body.
