Chiang Mai is a Ghost Town, Thai Visa Crackdown

It s September of 2019 and Chiang Mai has become a ghost town. Thailand is quite around this time of year because of the rainy season but this year it is the quietest I have ever seen it. People have been speculating that it is due to the visa crackdown that the Thai government has embarked on. Others say, that it is due to the strong baht, the weak pound and tourists getting less value for their money. Retires are now looking for alternatives to Thailand thanks to the mandatory health insurance that is
