Santiago Calatravas Opera House in Valencia

My Arch Studio presentation of El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, opened October 2005, after nine years of construction. Total cost 120m, designed by worldrenowned architect Santiago Calatrava. Music is Habanera from Bizet s CARMEN performed by Charlotte Church. As you watch the progression of photos, we go from daylight, to dusk, to night. There s a very special magic about this place at night, when the buildings seem even more vibrant, if that s possible, it s very spectacular during the day.
