Japanese Abandoned Prison Story

This is the Aikawa Prison on Sado Island, Niigata Prefecture. The prison was in operation from 1954 to 1972 when it was relocated to another area of Niigata. The prison is in the same condition it was left in 1972. Jaya from Tokyo Llama and Ruth Jarmen join me for a tour of this abandoned prison in an old part of a finished gold mine.
