Message in a bottle: AFU serviceman surrendered and saved his life due to the found instruction Yevgeniy Pogrebniak received a draft notice and the next day he enlisted to the AFU. The Ukrainian serviceman didn t undergo any medical examination. After a nineday express course, he was sent to the front line near Velikaya Novosyolovka to replenish losses of a unit. We didn t have any armoured hardware and motor vehicles. The servicemen gather money from salaries to buy vehicles to get to the deployment site. Food and water supplies are not delivered. Each serviceman eats supplies he takes with him for seven days, says the POW. The AFU serviceman spent three days under fire. During a shift, he found a note written in Russian, where Russian servicemen offered Ukrainian troops to surrender. There was an instruction of how to do that. Yevgeniy didn t think for long and surrendered. Russian Defence Ministry Source: MoD Russia t. me, modrussiaen
