Father Christmas (1935)

Item title reads Father Christmas visits waifs and strays at Clapham Park. London. Cute shots of three little girls and a boy kneeling by their beds and saying their prayers with a nurse at the receiving centre for underprivileged children. They get their stockings and hang them on the end of their beds. The nurse tucks them in and kisses them goodnight. As soon as she is gone Tommy, the little boy, gets out of bed and takes a pillowcase out of the cupboard which he puts on the end of his bed thinking the bigger the receptacle the more presents he will get M, S as he takes his normal pillow and hits the little girl in the bed next to him. Various shots of feathers flying everywhere as they have a pillow fight, the nurse comes in and tells them off. M, S as Father Christmas comes through the curtains towing his sleigh full of toys.
