(25 Apr 2016) NEW EXHIBIT DEDICATED TO OLSEN TWINS A new art exhibit features paintings of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen hiding from the paparazzi. In the paintings, Mary Kate and Ashley hide their face behind their hands and various objects like Starbucks cups, handbags and even a blackberry phone. Chicagobased artist Laura Collins says she was inspired to create art around the former actressesturnedfashion designers because, They ve always been in the media. You know, they re the same age as I am so it was always sort of a comparison that I would make between my life and their s and I think that it s really fascinating that there s two of them. I think that s always just anytime something is doubled it s pretty Mary Kate and Ashley are not identified in the paintings because Collins believes they re interchangeable.
