Church Decor (1960)

M, S of the head and torso of a large bronze figure of Christ held in a reclining position outside a modern church, St Peter s Priory, in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The sculptor, Dr Arthur Fleischmann, comes into shot wearing a brown duffle coat and beret and dusts the figure with a large clean paintbrush. C, U of him brushing the face and head, and generally examining the whole figure. C, Us: panning shot of statue and the feet and hands; AF s hand smoothing over the surface. M, S of three men looking on as two men fix ropes under the arms of the statue and one signals for a crane to be lowered.
