My Father Is Still a Communist (2013, Ahmad Ghossein)
Through a large collection of letters recorded on audio cassettes over a period of ten years, Ahmad Ghossein chronicles the story of his parents Rashid Ghossein and Mariam Hamadeh, who were married during the civil war and then separated for many years while Rashid went abroad to look for work during which time the young Ahmad invented stories that his absent father was a war hero fighting for the Communist Party.
