Sirena Ванкувер

Sirena, aka Meighan Visser, grew up in a small town in the province of Alberta, Canada, where she began studying music at the young age of 5 years old. Training in Classical Piano spanned a few years, and led to learning several percussion instruments to feed more of her intellectual vision of a wellrounded skill set. Her first taste of underground music culture came from the raw energy generated by the DIY punk scene in Edmonton, Alberta, where she was first exposed to acts involving analog electronics with live instruments. This initiated her love for hidden venues and discovering unique, evolving sounds. Additional to frequenting these events; listening to college and community radio, and working at a prominent music store at the time, increasingly fed the desire to continue the expansion of her musical horizons.
