Spanish is my native language and I learned English as a child when I moved to the United States. I remained bilingual until high school where I learned Italian and French. Then in college I took classes to learn Polish, German, Portuguese Catalan. I only took one course for each language and afterwards I continued studying on my own with the help of friends that were native speakers of each language.
