Eve (1922)

This is a story about very overweight women. The first intertitle describes the woman as M, S of a very large woman picking fruit from a tree. She takes a bite of the fruit and smiles at the camera. Intertitle reads: Twelve inches one foot Five Eves one ton C, U of the fat lady s ankles. Some children sit around her. The camera pans up. The woman is handing out flowers and laughing. but she stands no nonsense The woman stands over a tin bath and washes one of her children. She tips the boy in head first to wash his face and hair. Underneath the next picture is a The children push their mother along in a pram. They are in a garden and she is flashing off her bloomers and stocking tops. She laughs uproariously, coming very close to the camera. C, U of her arm as it is measured with a tape. Now, where s that Dempsey feller asks an intertitle.
