Exactly what do I need to understand about light

It is a very real challenge for new photographers to understand what light is and how it works. Very often the resources explaining it, confuse more than what they actually help. This video breaks it down to the bare basics that any photographer should understand to start taking better photos. We are not trying to give all answers to all questions in one go, but rather approach it from the perspective of a particular photo where good use of light is the only thing stopping it from being a great photo.
