SLS RS 25 Engine Test, 14 August 2018
NASA conducted a new test of a flight controller installed on the Aerojet Rocketdyne developmental RS25 rocket engine No. 0525. The 319 seconds hotfire test was conducted on the A1 Test Stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, on 14 August 2018, at 19:41 UTC (14:41 CDT, 15:41 EDT). NASAs Space Launch System (SLS), the most powerful rocket ever built, will be powered by four RS25 engines firing simultaneously. Credit: NASA, JourneyToMars
