Smooth shape transitions in Blender using lofting

It took me longer than it should to have found out how to do lofting in Blender (Hint: It doesn t get called lofting frustratingly, even though that is what it is). So I wanted to make this for those on the hunt for it as well knowing the correct terminology and even if you aren t its a cool technique.
