Togakushi, Stories on the road

The mountainous area of Togakushi in northern Nagano Prefecture is with its five Shrines, a site heavily connected to Shinto, the Japanese religion. The area is also associated with one essential part of Japanese mythology, about the sungoddess Amaterasu. On this trip, we explore the Shinto Shrines and the natural sceneries connected to the story.
