The 1991 500cc Japanese Bike Grand Prix at Suzuka was an incredible race as the top contenders in the Championship, Wayne Rainey (Yamaha), Kevin Schwantz (Suzuki), Wayne Gardner and Mick Doohan (Honda) and Eddie Lawson moved battled for victory. In what was one of the best races from the 1990s, it was a furious encounter with the lead changing multiple times between Rainey, Schwantz and Doohan and it went right down to the final corner
