Special thanks to John Singleton for the aerial footage of humpback whales. And to Jessica Riederer for her footage of leopard rays. A few years ago, a friend passed away very suddenly. I felt deep sorrow when she passed; Sorrow for her boys and for their great loss, and sorrow for all she would miss out on, not getting to see them grow up. I feel that those who die leave us with the immense gift of an extra appreciation for being alive. So they truly are angels in the sense that they remind us to live fully and in gratitude.
