He came. He craned. He conquered. ,strong Ian Crane arrived in Western Australia after a 40+ hour travel day and was thrown right into a perfect left Noa Deane s board. The airline managed to misplace Crane s coffin en route. Such is life, though. Eventually, his boards showed up but the waves changed we only had another day at the left before we ended up at a right ramp. Then a left ramp. Then a right slab. Then it was time to leave. But after such a good variety of great waves, Crane was a
