AIDS, Life Cycle 2013 Closing Ceremonies SYTYCD Performance

Marko Germar, Robert Roldan, Allison Holker, Kathryn McCormick, and Alex Wong are the dancers who performed. All are former cast members or All Stars of the FOX television show So You Think You Can Dance and learned the piece titled Home at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in New York. Founder Alvin Ailey died due to AIDS in 1989. This piece is a tribute to him and to all those who have lost loved ones to AIDS. More information and a video on the backstory can be found here: wf
