Goddess Skandamata
Navratri Day 5 . Goddess Skandamata is the fifth form of the Hindu goddess Durga and is worshipped on the fifth day of Navratri. Her name comes from the words Skanda, which is another name for the war god Kartikeya, and Mātā, which means mother. She represents motherhood, love, compassion, protection, and the tenacity of a mothers consideration.
