ROCO continued its 20162017 In Concert series with Space: The Final Playground, featuring Franz Schuberts Symphony No. 6. Conductor David Danzmayr led the orchestra, with Scott St. John returning as concertmaster. The program, which also included the Texas premiere of a new ROCO commission Michael Gilbertsons Cosmos for wind quintet and orchestra, Gabriela Lena Frank s Elegía Andina, and Vilém Tauskýs Coventry, was recorded November 19, 2016, at The Church of St. John the Divine, Houston, TX.
