Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan leave over 40 dead

At least 47 people were reported dead after Pakistani forces conducted airstrikes on bordering provinces in Afghanistan. They targeted the Talibanassociated TTP alliance, which they blame for regular attacks coming from Afghan territory. The strikes prompted the Talibans political spokesperson to warn Islamabad of serious consequences if the attacks continue.
