THIS RESTORED EMD FP7 A LOCOMOTIVE IS BACK IN SERVICE (2020), Jason Asselin
Today I filmed this vintage EMD FP7 that was put back into service hauling freight for the Escanaba Lake Superior Railroad. I chased it from Wisconsin up into upper Michigan, at one point a pickup truck ran out in front of it ignoring the flashing red signals and horn blowing. Overall it was a good chase with some great footage, I hope you love it This EMD FP7 marked ELS 600 is a 1, 500 horsepower (1, 100 kW), BB dualservice passenger and freighthauling diesel locomotive produced in January 1951 by General Motors ElectroMotive Division and General Motors Diesel. It s currently owned by the Escanaba Lake Superior Railroad but was previously owned by Wisconsin Calumet, Wisconsin Southern and Milwaukee Road.
