They were cold, stiff, and had their leg chewed off with the bone sticking out. I felt sad for the little creature, so I went to pick them up with the intent of burying them. However, I noticed a slight movement. The baby was alive, though barely. Immediately I took the kitten to the vet for an emergency dropoff. A few hours later, the vet notified me that the baby had severe hypothermia, possibly a neurological disorder, hypoglycemia, was malnourished, underweight, had an infected umbilical cord, and said that their prognosis was not good.
