Windorgan, Vlissingen (NL) In August 1975 the first wind organ was made by the Belgian artist Raphaël Augusts Opstaele and artists from the Mass and Individual Moving Project. They used 50 Bamboe sticks from Cameroon, Africa. This first organ on the Nollehoofd was swept away by a storm in January 1976. In October of the same year the wind organ was rebuild. In April 1981 vandals destroyed 8 of the tubes but in the same year the organ was rebuild again on the Nollehoofd. Video Sound : Jules Bitter
