How I Built from Scratch My Micro RC SG 38, and Made It a Powered Glider
How I built from scratch my micro RC SG38 and made it a powered glider. An allbalsa RC plane that is easy to build and fly. A very good RC trainer plane because of its slowfly characteristics. The real Schneider DFS 10814 SG38 Schulgleiter (German for school glider ) is a German highwing, cablebraced, singleseat glider that was designed by Schneider, Rehberg, and Hofmann at Edmund Schneider s factory at Grunau in 1938. The main material of my Micro RC SG38 is balsa. In fact, this is my first scratchbuild using this material. Most of my micro planes use foam as the main material. By the way, this build was inspired by this thread at RC Groups: SPECS: Wingspan: (500 mm. ) Length: (350 mm. ) AllUpWeight: 2 oz.
