Jerome Hunter Tribute to Byard Lancaster

Solo Improvisation conceived performed by Jerome Hunter. On Thursday, July 28th 2016, at the Settlement Music School in Germantown a group of musicians, dancers, singers and poets, led by The Eye2Eye Trio and Monnette Sudler came together to celebrate he life and work of a Philadelphias Jazz Ambassador; Byard Lancaster. The performers included The Eye2Eye Trio Bert Harrisbass, Elliott Levinsax and flutes and Kim Pedrodrums featuring special guest guitarist, Monnette Sudler. They were joined by other musical guest including, Marianne LancasterTyler piano, Alfie Pollitt piano, Larry Price alto sax, Jerome Hunter bass, Lisa Chavous vocals, Barbara Walker vocals, Harold Smith digeridoo, shells, percussion, Robert Kenyatta congas, Barbara McPherson Natasha Truitt dancers.
