SYNOPSIS THE RECORDIST follows Charlie Hall (Brit Marling), a directionless college student who discovers that her fate may be determined by a cosmic plot to record the events that shape human history. Always the outsider, Charlie meets an eccentric old woman named Avis Dauphin (Annie O Donnell) who claims to hold the key to Charlie s true identity. Together these two women hunt down the clues that may uncover the mystery of Charlie s past and point to her impending fate as a RECORDIST.
