Aversion II ( Official Music Video)

This is the official music video for Aversion II, a song that appears on my album, ALIEN TUNG, to be released on Detroit Underground records. I shot and edited the video myself. The song is about how women are expected to confine themselves to the cultural standards perpetuated by patriarchal ideals without question, or be shamed and publicly humiliated for not conforming. The fact is that our world culture is built on inherently misogynistic ideas, and this is evident in the staggering amount of abuse suffered by women globally due to culturally ingrained and rampant sexism, which has gone on uninterrupted for thousands of years into the present day. One such example is the historical mass murder of women who were unjustly accused of black magic witchcraft in medieval Europe (during the notorious witch burnings). The murder of hundreds of thousands of women has since been proven, through notable research by feminist scholars such as Silvia Federici, to have been nothing more than a power grab
