Various shots show Mona, a chimpanzee, in a nightgown and nightcap in a bedroom. She bends over at the bed, as if saying her prayers, then gets into bed. An AfricanAmerican woman comes into the room and says she is going to tell Mona a bedtime story. The woman sits beside the bed and starts to tell her the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Intertitle reads: Came the . C, U of an alarm clock going off at ten past seven. Mona gets out of bed and throws the clock on the ground, then gets back into bed.
