Rachel Deacon British figurative painter

Rachel Deacon was born in London and studied at Chelsea School of Art, graduating in based her works on a narrative, using short stories or poetry as ispiration and creating a scene or an idea in drawings. She use tradionali oil painting techniques and embraces the convention of the classical composition, but with a contemporary is influenced by painters as Paula Rego and Frida Khalo.
