Shooting an Interview on your Phone

The equipment I used to interview Felicia: iPhone 7 Mini Tripod Microphone: Note: My iPhone 7 doesn t have a headphone jack. That white dongle you see in the video is the adaptor. The microphone normally just plugs into the headphone jack on a phone. Other note: Try to also avoid shooting near a reflective surface like we did. You can see Felicia s reflection a bit behind her in our demo interview. Not a deal breaker, but slightly careless on my part.
