Liebherr A Dozen for the Energy Transition

In the fight against climate change, greenhouse gases must be saved. Under the EU Climate Change Act, the EU is to become climateneutral by 2050. To meet this requirement, the Dutch government has signed a climate agreement to switch all heating systems in the country from natural gas to sustainable energy sources such as district heating or electric heat pumps by 2050. With regard to this agreement, the district heating network in the Netherlands is currently being expanded. Twelve of our mobile cranes (4x LTM 2x LTM LTM LTM LTM LTM LTM LTM were used to lift a 1000 m long district heating pipeline. The challenge here was to get the pipeline into a certain bend so that it could be inserted into the ground. For this purpose, a drill head was installed at the front of the pipeline. The cranes were set up at a distance of 25 meters to shape the district heating pipeline into the specified curve.
