IIHF IHWC 2013: Canada Czech Republic 2:1
Jeff Skinner broke a 11 tie with a lovely goal early in the third period that stood up as the winner to give Canada a 21 win over the Czech Republic in the Preliminary Round at the 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. Incredibly, Skinner played the least of any player in the game (8:48) with the exception of Luke Schenn, who received a match penalty in the second period, and young defenceman T. J. Brodie.
