One of my most successful productions: released in 1966, written by Bobby Hebb, this became a monster hit for all concerned, in addition to being covered countless times by others. A wonderful collaboration with Ashford Simpson and Melba Moore providing the background vocals, along with Academy Awardwinning arranger Joe Renzetti (The Buddy Holly Story).
