Lebensborn was introduced into Nazi Germany in December 1935. Lebensborn was part of the Nazi belief in a Master Race the creation. The initial success experienced by the Germans in World War 2 gave the regime the opportunity to expand Lebensborn throughout Nazioccupied Europe. Lebensborn (Fount of Life) was an SSinitiated, statesupported, registered association in Nazi Germany with the goal of raising the birth rate of Aryan children of persons classified as racially pure and healthy based on Nazi racial hygiene and health ideology. Lebensborn Motherss were chosen especially from Norwegian girls.
