Nicknamed Sporty Spice, she rose to fame in 1996 with the Spice Girls and released two consecutive numberone albums. Chisholm began her solo career in 1998 and released her debut album Northern Star in 1999 which sold over 4 million copies worldwide. She released several more solo albums, cowrote 11 UK numberone songs, and has sold over 123 million records. Chisholm has received numerous awards and certifications, including a mention in the Guinness Book, five Brit Awards, and three American Music Awards.
