American Poetry Discussion

Today we had awesome discussion topic: American poetry lead by Scholar Burke. Participants recited emotionally poems of the American writers as: Robert Frost, Emily Dickenson, Billy Collins, Gwendolyn Brooks, William Carlos Williams. Also discussed poetry specific types, genres, respond to characteristics of the language in which the poets often adapt forms, styles and techniques from diverse cultures and languages.
