Leave Her To Heaven 1945 Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde, Jeanne Crain
Stunning A technicolour noir. Gene Tierney at her most beautiful. A dark and beautifully shot movie directed by John Stahl, quite late in his career. A masterpiece and a must see film for anyone seriously interested in movies. Melodramatic, poisonous and all kinds of beauty are here. Do I have a niggle Wish that Jimmy Stewart would have been the male lead, I find that Cornel Wilder only just about gets away with it.
